Erica, the artist behind the brand, shares, “As an artist, I aim to tell the stories of the animals around us,” reflecting her “passion for capturing the essence of animals” and celebrating the joy they bring to our lives.
“I started my business after realizing I wanted to pursue something I truly loved. I combined my love for my own rescue dog with my love for art to start this business! I now use my business as a way to give back to rescues and shelters by collaborating on pet portrait fundraisers.”
Erica offers custom portraits that bring out each pet’s unique personality, using oil pastels to create “dynamic pieces that invite viewers into the heart of each subject.” She explains, “I have always been drawn to the expressive potential of oil pastels. This medium allows me to blend rich colors and textures,” fostering “a connection between people and animals.”
With a background in journalism and a career in the technology industry, Erica brings storytelling into her work. “Now, thanks to my unique background in Journalism and professional career in the technology industry, I weave storytelling into my artwork,” she shares. Erica’s custom portraits and live events provide a memorable experience for animal lovers, allowing her to “highlight the importance of compassion and understanding in our shared world.”
Through her events and custom portrait sessions, Erica hopes to “convey the magic and vitality of the animals that inspire” her, celebrating the beauty of animals and the connections we share with them.
