Boston Dog Moms’ First-Ever Barkuterie Brunch: A Valentine’s Celebration for Pups & Their People
February is all about love—and at Boston Dog Moms, that means celebrating the unbreakable bond between dog moms and their pups! 💕 On February 1, 2025, we hosted our first-ever Barkuterie Brunch at the stunning Liberty Hotel Ballroom, and it was nothing short of magical.
With a picture-perfect pink theme, delicious treats for dogs and humans alike, and an amazing turnout, we created an unforgettable experience for Boston’s pet-loving community.
Plus, the event caught the attention of The Huntington News! We were honored to be featured in their coverage, highlighting the joy, connection, and impact of the Barkuterie Brunch.
A Dreamy Valentine’s Event with a Purpose
What started as a vision to create a cozy, festive space for dog moms to connect turned into an incredible celebration filled with games, giveaways, and giving back to the community. From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere—and of course, plenty of wagging tails!
🎟️ Supporting a Great Cause: A huge highlight of the event was our partnership with PAWsitive Pantry, a nonprofit dedicated to helping pet parents in need. We encouraged guests to bring pet supply donations in exchange for raffle tickets, making it easy to give back while having fun.
📸 Picture-Perfect Memories: Attendees had a blast posing with their pups in front of custom Valentine’s-themed backdrops, including a balloon wall and pink photo station.

🧀 Barkuterie Boards for Everyone: No brunch is complete without good food! Our dog-friendly charcuterie boards were a hit, filled with pup-approved treats, while dog moms indulged in delicious cheese, fruit, and gourmet bites.
🎤 Games, Laughs & Community: Our incredible host, Amanda Marie (@staywickedsmaht), kept the energy high with raffle prizes, interactive games, and even a “Find Your Dog’s Doppelgänger” contest. Attendees could also write Valentine’s Day love notes to their pups, which were read aloud throughout the event—cue the happy tears!
