Doggies, Donuts, and Diamonds: A Day of Philanthropy and Fun

On August 26, the Boston Dog Moms community gathered for an unforgettable Kendra Scott fundraiser recap, a delightful mix of doggie fun, decadent donuts, and dazzling diamonds.

What Made Our Fundraising Event So Special?

On National Dog Day, our community united on Newbury Street to support Rescue Inc. through an event that was more than just shopping and socializing—it was about giving back!

Shopping for a cause

It wasn't just about shopping; 20% of every purchase went directly to Rescue Inc. to support their noble cause of a sweet pup named Sebastian, a rescue puppy that needed eye surgery. Over 40 Boston Dog Moms showed up to support, make friends, and show off their pups.

Tasty Treats for all

While humans enjoyed delicious donuts, champagne and, our furry friends nibbled on special doggie treats from Ciao Bow Wow and Polka Dog Bakery. Besides, of course, all of the gorgeous jewelry that folks picked up along the way from Kendra Scott!

A Keepsake to Remember

For those who shopped, Amber Bruski of A Dog's Narrative offered a photographic keepsake: a beautiful shot of their beloved pets. Featuring signature Kendra Scott Yellow and cheerful balloons, she captured the portraits of the supportive members puppies—lots of treats and peanut butter licks were enjoyed in the process. Didn’t she do a fabulous job?

Online Support

For those unable to attend, online shopping was also an option, with a portion of the proceeds still supporting Rescue Inc. We love offering accessible options like this to our members!

Real Impact

The funds raised during the event ensured that dogs like Sebastian received the care they deserved. This tangible impact reminded us of the power of community and giving back. Our giveback totaled over $600 back to Rescue Inc.!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event, making it not just a day of fun but one of purpose and impact. Stay tuned for more Boston Dog Moms events, where we come together for good!
